What is God like?
“...I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and
lifted up; and the train of his robe filled the temple...And one
called to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts;
the whole earth is full of his glory!”
Isaiah 6:1-3

Podcasting
You may be asking yourself, "What is podcasting?"
Podcasting is a method for automatically downloading MP3 files to
your computer. You can then listen to the files (Sunday & Wednesday
sermons in this case) whenever you want.
But wait, it get's better! You can sync your computer with your iPod®,
or MP3 player of your choice, and be able to listen to solid, Bible
based teachings wherever you are!
So, how does Podcasting work?
Podcasting is just a name used for downloading an MP3 audio file to
you computer automatically. You have to use a Podcatcher, also known
as an aggregator, to download the file. You can setup your
Podcatcher to check for new files at certain times and it will then
automatically download them to your computer.
How do I get a Podcatcher?
There are many different free Podcatchers available for download.
One of the most common is iTunes ®.
Another popular Podcatcher is
Sharp Reader. If you want to use Windows Media Player you will
need an add-in program such as the Juice ipodder -
Download
and install the Juice iPodder here. And if you need help setting
it up here are a few articles to help (please note that these are
external websites which the church does not in any way endorse)

Okay, I have a Podcatcher now, but how do I make it work?
No two Podcatchers are exactly alike, but they all operate in a
similar way. When setting up your Podcatcher, you will have the
option of inputting an address or location of the Podcast. You
should give your Podcatcher the GPBC Podcasting address. It is

NOTE: Some Podcatchers come with subscriptions to other Podcasts. If
you do not wish to see these all the time, you can tell your
Podcatcher to "unsubscribe" or "disable" these particular Podcasts.
What if it will not work?
If you have have followed the directions and still cannot get your
Podcatcher to work, please contact Brian Wilson at the church
office.
